If you don't know me, my name is Jonathan, and I'm grieving the loss of my wife (8/30/2022). I'm blessed to have a beautiful family and circle of friends who are shepherding me through this journey with the utmost care and support.

What do we do when life as we've looked forward to it is ripped away in an instant? We find a way to cope. At a time when almost everything in life has lost its taste, I'm choosing to follow an activity that has absolutely overtaken my thoughts as of late...

I'm building a 24' boat.

I've never had a blog before. I was suddenly compelled to establish a place where I could post progress of my boat build, and occasionally ramble on with my thoughts.
